Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about Secure Notes, Protected Links, EXIF Removal and WebP Optimization.

Private Notes

How does this service work?
You can create a private message that will be permanently deleted after it's read once. The note is encrypted before storage, and only the recipient can decrypt and view it.
Is the service secure?
Yes. Notes are encrypted using AES-256 and transmitted securely via SSL. Once opened, the message is permanently deleted from the server — nothing remains accessible afterward.
Can I read the message again?
No. Private notes can only be opened once. After the first view, the message is automatically destroyed for both sender and recipient.
What kind of information can I send?
You can securely send passwords, private notes, or other confidential data. Remember: the message is destroyed after it's opened.
What if the recipient never opens the link?
Notes remain available for 30 days. After that period, they are automatically deleted — even if they were never opened.
What is an OTP (one-time password) and how does it work?
The OTP adds an extra layer of protection. When enabled, a one-time password is sent to the recipient's email address and must be entered before the note can be decrypted and read.

Secure Links

How does the secure link service work?
The tool lets you create a protected URL for any website or file. You can add an expiration date, password, and click limit to control access and duration.
Can I protect a secure link?
Yes. You can add a password and a click limit so the link can only be accessed by authorized users — and only a limited number of times.
What happens when the click limit is reached?
Once the limit is reached, the secure link is automatically deactivated and can no longer be accessed.
Can I receive notifications when someone accesses my link?
Yes. You can enable optional email notifications to get an alert each time someone clicks your secure link.

EXIF Data Removal

Why should I remove EXIF data from images?
EXIF data can include sensitive information such as GPS location, camera model, and capture date. Removing it helps protect your privacy when sharing photos online.
What kind of EXIF data is removed?
The EXIF Cleaner removes hidden metadata such as GPS coordinates, camera model, device ID, capture time, and other identifying details embedded in your images.
Are my images uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. All EXIF data cleaning happens directly in your browser (client-side). Your images never leave your device, and nothing is uploaded or saved on our servers.
Will cleaning the image affect its quality?
No. Only metadata is removed — the image's quality, resolution, and visual appearance remain unchanged.
Can I use the EXIF Cleaner on mobile devices?
Yes. The EXIF Cleaner works entirely in your browser, so it functions on both mobile and desktop devices without installation or uploads.

WebP Image Converter

What does the WebP Image Converter do?
The WebP Image Converter helps you compress JPG and PNG images into the modern WebP format. This reduces file size significantly while keeping visual quality high.
Which image formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, JPEG, and PNG files. Each batch supports up to 20 images at once for quick and convenient optimization.
Are my images uploaded to your server?
No. All conversions happen locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Images are never uploaded, stored, or sent to any server.
Can I change the quality or size of the images?
Yes. You can adjust the WebP quality using a slider and optionally enable resizing.
How do downloads work after conversion?
After converting, you can download each WebP image individually or download all converted images as a single ZIP file.
What are the statistics shown for converted images?
The converter displays aggregated statistics such as the number of images converted, total data saved, and a rough estimate of CO2 savings based on reduced data transfer.
